This is a review that is long overdue. Gene did a GREAT commission for me for the Hawaii themed page on my website, and it is absolutely beautiful. (Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to add it yet but I hope to do so soon.) It's an incredible pastel piece that is HUGE and full of detail, with four (yes 4) sunbathing heroines on the beach. Gene is very enthusiastic about his commissions, always willing to talk through details like a character's pose, and their action and or reaction in a composition. Then he'll take all these elements, and create his own interpretation that in my experience has never failed to surprise and delight.

I own quite a few pieces that Gene has done. I first purchased a wonderful color pastel of the White Queen that he did back in 05. I have purchased at least 7 pieces. I had Gene do a commission for me a few months back(Agent 13) and it was just simply amazin'. He was able to fit in everythin' that I wanted in the peice and even added quite a few wonderful extras. Includin' an image of Captain America and some eagles. I will definetly buy again. And I would like to get another co

I recently purchased a piece and was so blown away by the level of detail, that I decided to commission a piece based on one of his other pieces. Both pieces amaze everyone that sees them, and I hope to add a third in the near future

What can I say about this artist guy that hasn't already been writtened by other admirers and art collectors.He 'd give you the eraser off his pencil if you ask him...He'd wash your car to make sure that it looked good for one of his amazingly detailed works of art...He is one talented SOB and I love what he has done for me..I am a better person because of the commissions he has done for me..I am no longer a hunchback because I had to stand up straight to see his pencil wizardry.

For me an my family Gene created two drawings of action figures combined with our faces. Both of them are great and are hanging on our living-room-wall. The likeness of me, my wife and my three daughters is really good and all who visit us immediately ask who did and are positive about every aspect of the art (likeness, settings, size, etc..). Gene has done a great job and I am sure we will contact him again in the future to create additional art-work. Gene thanks!!!!!

Gene's art is without a doubt some of the best out there. His attention to detail and his soft tonal rendering makes his pieces stand out. He also has a great hand and eye when creating the female form. I now own three originals by Gene and plan on commissioning another piece real soon. Thanks Gene for the great art!!!

Gene's art tends towards a lot of pinups given his client base, but he can do some amazing stuff given the right topic!

Pricing is good, with prompt contact and discussion of what the piece will actually entail. And if you want him to go nuts on a background, he'll do it!

Gene is a pleasure to work with when attempting to commission a pinup. He did a rendition of Supergirl for me which has an absolutely PERFECT body. I could not have been more pleased with the outcome.

Gene's work is simply Amazing!!!! I personally own over twenty of his creations and can't wait to get more! Every detail is put in to his pieces with great care and composition always exceeds your expectations! One of the best in the biz and a great guy to work with, always! If you have an idea and want it on paper, look no farther!
